Mr. Thorsten Dueser – Senior Partner, Corporate Finance

Thorsten Dueser, founder of Switzerland based solutionpartners.global, is an independent advisor to entrepreneurs, their companies and families. His holistic financial and strategic advice is based on a career of 26 years in investment banking and wealth management at JP Morgan and Credit Suisse in London, New York, Frankfurt and Zürich. His track record includes the establishment of leading client franchises in targeted industries and countries, the development of innovative collaboration platforms and the nurturing of long term client relationships through transformative transactions as well as idea-based dialogue. Mr Dueser is a member of the advisory boards of Bodmer Capital, the Fine Art Group, and a Switzerland based clean tech company in formation. He studied at Hamburg University, St Gallen University (HSG) and at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Since 1989 he is a Personal member of the London based Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House).

Mr. John d’Abo – Senior Partner, Capital Markets

Mr. d’Abo has over 25 years of experience in Investment Banking in various positions around the world. He has worked in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York over this period for institutions such as HSBC, Credit Suisse, Daiwa, RBS and CLSA. Mr. d’Abo has specialized in raising equity in both the public and private markets, on deals ranging from $5m for private companies to multi-billion-dollar government privatizations. He has specialized in matching the capital requirements of companies around the globe with international investors, across many sectors, but in Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors in particular. In addition to his knowledge of global investors, John has amassed a network of global corporate contacts, which have proven to be equally useful for assistance with M&A mandates.

Dr. Gulnara Salimova - Partner

Dr. Gulnara Salimova is a Partner responsible for FMCG, pharmaceuticals, investment banking and business development with Strategic Swiss Partners. Working at Senior Executive positions Dr. Salimova possess 35+ years of government and international industrial experience in FMCG, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices and financial sector gained at such blue chip companies as BAT, Pfizer, Baxter, Ansher Int. Being a member of the Executive Boards and Regional ExCo’s in EMEA, Dr. Salimova headed Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy, Corporate Communications, Market Access, Business Development, Internal Audit, Risk Management and PMO functions. She successfully managed large scale cross-functional and cross-business Projects that were pivotal in significant revenue growth of the multinational companies. She speaks five languages (English, Italian, German, Russian, Uzbek) and developed diverse multicultural sensitivity and fast market adaptation. Dr. Salimova is the Managing Partner of a management consulting firm “Salimova & Co. Business Solutions”, Official Representative in Switzerland of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Executive Board Member and the Chairwomen of the Uzbekistan Committee at SACC, Co-founder of “Uzbekistan-Italia” Association.

Ms. Sabine Nowak – Strategic Advisor (Associate Partner- Five Elements Capital)

Sabine Nowak has over 15 years’ experience in the private equity industry, with focus over the past years on renewable energy, waste-to-energy, environmental technologies and circular economy. Sabine is managing partner of five elements capital, a boutique advisory company, with focus on resource efficiency, environment, and impact, based in Zurich, Switzerland. In her work, Sabine seeks to combine financial expertise and access to capital, with technologies and projects supporting the sustainable use of resources. Sabine is also on the board of Clean Resources AG, a holding company co-investing in clean tech and impact investment projects. Prior to her current engagements, Sabine has worked as an independent consultant in the private equity industry involving corporate finance, project finance, and M&A. Sabine has also worked as a Senior Associate of ADVEQ Advisors on Private Equity, an international private equity fund-of-fund based in Zurich. Sabine holds an MBA in Global Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management, AZ, and a B.S. in Finance Magna Cum Laude from Western International University, AZ, USA. Sabine is an Austrian citizen, living in Zurich, Switzerland.
