Guna R. Mahalingam

Chairman

Mr. Mahalingam is the Founder and Chairman of Strategic Swiss Partners AG and its associated companies in Liechtenstein, China, United Arab Emirates and Malaysia.

He is Deputy CEO and Executive Board Member of ICON Asset Management AG Switzerland SRO Member VQF CTA Registered /NFA ID 0508527 (FINMA Registration under process).

With roots in Switzerland and Malaysia, Mr. Mahalingam has over 30 years of entrepreneurial experience building a successful career in the investment and financial services industry. With his extensive international exposure, he has developed a truly multicultural sensitivity and has created an enormous global network of trusted financial specialist and business partners. His expertise is setting up new companies and scaling them into profitable businesses.

He is a long standing Executive Board Member and Senior Advisor of Finance and Investments for the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce and serves as International Finance expert for Singularity Academy, a newly developed online-and-offline University, HQ in Zurich, Switzerland.

Apart of SSP he is Malaysian Honorary Consul for the Consulate of Malaysia in Zurich Switzerland.

Dr. Urs Lustenberger

Legal Affairs

Dr. Urs Lustenberger is member of the Executive Board and Managing Partner of Legal Affairs at Strategic Swiss Partners AG and
Executive Board Member of SSP SICAV SinOpportunities Fund in Vaduz Liechtenstein.
He holds a PhD in Law from the University of Zurich Switzerland and is the founding partner at Lustenberger Attorneys at Law with his main practice area in International Commercial Arbitration and Litigation, Competition Law, Trust and Estates Law, General Corporate Law, Real Estate, and Insolvency Law.
Dr .Lustenberger is also the long-serving president of the Swiss Asian Chamber of Commerce frequently consulted by governmental, legal, economic and sustainability councils and frequently speaks at governmental and legal conferences on Europe and Asia-business topics.
He is the co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Singularity Academy, an Online-Offline University Campus across the Netherlands, Germany, and Switzerland.
Dr. Urs Lustenberger currently serves as the Honorary Consul of the Philippines in Zurich Switzerland.

Sylvie Zhou

Managing Partner and President SSP China

Mrs. Sylvie Zhou is member of the Executive Board at Strategic Swiss Partners AG and represents SSP as President of SSP China.
Mrs. Zhou is co-founder of SSP China – Gu Ruilai Consulting Management Co Ltd and Executive Board Member of the Investment committee for the SSP QFLP Fund in China.
Growing up in Shanghai, Mrs. Zhou has later been living and working for over 20 years in Europe. Studying in Switzerland for several years she accomplished her bachelor in hotel management at the Les Roches hotel management school in Lausanne and her traditional Chinese background combined with strong pioneering, entrepreneurship spirit led her to invest in her own gastronomy business in the French part of Switzerland. Mrs. Zhou has built many years of investment experience in various industries and her focus lays in the promotion of cooperation's and technical exchanges between China and Switzerland, especially in the medical & life science, elderly care sector and Sports. Nevertheless, her passion for charity and interpersonal, human connection always plays a major role in all her project selection.

Fabian Mahalingam

Mr. Mahalingam is member of the Executive Board and Managing Partner at Strategic Swiss Partners. He heads the Business Development Team at Strategic Swiss Partners. He accomplished his education in the Assurance & Financial Services industry at Skandia Leben Zurich with distinction before moving to the Wealth Management industry with 1291 Switzerland Group. Later he joined Engel & Völkers, a renowned luxury Real Estate Agency and gained profound knowledge of the international Real Estate industry. Since 2017, Mr. Mahalingam is heading SSP's worldwide business development team. Client Relations and Business Development, specializing in Private Equity and M&A transactions, are his expertise. High multicultural sensitivity and excellent communication combined with strong organizational and negotiation skills are his strengths.

Dr. Mathias Rodenstein

Managing Partner, 

Senior Project Manager

Dr. Mathias Rodenstein is Executive Director and Managing Partner, heading the Project Management team at Strategic Swiss Partners. He holds a PhD in Science from ETH Zurich and a Master of Science in Physics from TU Dresden having spent part of his studies at EPFL Lausanne and St. Petersburg State University. His professional skills expand over a vast field of business sectors. Dr. Rodenstein began his professional career at a Swiss strategy consultancy company, leading the development of an international CHF 500m+ business expansion project before joining PwC, Zurich as Senior Project Manager in the Financial Services. His analytical risk management approach combined with his passion for technology and science and his strong networking skills led him to head large scale company projects. As Senior Investment Manager at the British Embassy in Berne, besides leading 50+ yearly projects, Dr. Rodenstein maintained public relationships, the coordination of official events and ministerial visits as well as the support of business development for large Swiss companies, such as Nestlé and UBS, overseeing a combined project portfolio of over CHF 1.5 billion.

Professor Rob McCusker

Professor Rob McCusker is a Member of the Executive Team, Senior Partner and Head of Compliance at Strategic Swiss Partners. He is a Transnational Crime Consultant (advising a range of international organisations upon any crime which crosses a national or regional border) and the Transnational Crime Director at Global Risk Alliance Ltd in the UK.  Rob is a retained expert on ‘anti-money laundering’, ‘combating organized crime’ and ‘combating terrorism and its funding’ for the Economic Crime and Cooperation Division, Council of Europe, a designated expert on ‘economic crime, including money laundering’ for the UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice,  a member of the Advisory Board of the Global Terrorism Trends and Analysis Centre in the USA, which provides research and analytical capability for the Bureau of Counterterrorism and Countering Violent Extremism at the US Department of State, a retained expert on ‘anti-corruption’ for the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (European Union) and an adviser to Financial Intelligence Units in West Africa as part of the OCWAR-M (Organised Crime – West Africa Response to Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) initiative for ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States).

Dr. Ravi Chikatamarla

Financial Technology – Fintech & Blockchain

Dr. Ravi Chikatamarla is Executive Partner, heading Fintech and Blockchain technologies at Strategic Swiss Partners. He holds a PhD from ETH Zurich and Master of Technology from IIT Delhi (Presidents Gold Medalist 1999). After being awarded the best PhD thesis in the year 2006, he was selected for the prestigious UBS Investment Bank graduate program. After two years as a developer of trader tools for the FX options desk, Dr. Chikatamarla was promoted to lead the Finance FX team, where he drove business planning, strategy and analytics. He then joined the trading desks in Zurich, London and Singapore, helping them grow and maximise profit, and from there was appointed the Global COO for Foreign Exchange business. In his position as COO, Dr. Chikatamarla seamlessly led front-to-back global business operations and steered critical projects such as the IOSCO benchmark implementation, MiFiD II, and the LIBOR transition for the investment bank. Dr. Chikatamarla brings over two decades of hands-on business expertise and in-depth product knowledge in Finance and Technology. He has been a fierce proponent of blockchain, digital assets, and decentralized finance and technology since the early days.

Mrs Weigella David is a member of the Executive Team and responsible for the PR and Marketing at Strategic Swiss Partners.

Mrs David has over 18 years’ entrepreneurial and corporate experience in the International Marketing & Consulting Services Industry and has developed a truly multicultural sensitivity, building an enormous global network of Marketing specialists and business partners in the areas of IT, Outsourcing and Business Process Solutions.

With over 15 years of management experience in the BPO sector, Mrs. David is a recognized expert in service outsourcing operations, process management, and best practices for BPO engagements, drawing upon career experiences at Accenture, Coca-Cola Business Services, HSBC, NBA Stores, DB Schenker and Tech Mahindra.

 

In 2019, Mrs. David founded JW-Prime Management Consultancy firm in the Philippines rendering IT consulting and Outsourcing services to start ups, small to medium sized companies and global corporations in the Philippines and abroad.

Mrs. David holds an MBA degree from the Ateneo De Manila University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from De La Salle University.

Seeks to work in a dynamic and ever evolving environment where I can thrive and will continue to bring transformation solutions to clients and relevant stakeholders. Persists to develop people so they can contribute and succeed in their chosen endeavor. Mr. Ivan C. Lima is a partner and CFO of Strategic Swiss Partners. Mr Lima has more than 15 years of experience as a finance expert in international companies. He began his career at Hälg Group, a major Swiss building services engineering company, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in various divisions and locations. From 2011 on he established the finance organization for Comet Group in the Silicon Valley. For Saurer Group, a world leading manufacturer in the textile machinery building industry, he worked as senior financial manager and Head of Compliance. In 2019 he joined Weytec Group, a global leader of workplace solutions, as Group CFO at the Zurich headquarters.

Maurus Bossi CFA

Senior Investment Advisor

Mr. Maurus Bossi, CFA, is business advisor and senior advisor Investments to Strategic Swiss Partners. Mr. Bossi is an independent asset management and blockchain expert. He served as CIO and COO of Pactum AG, a FINMA regulated Swiss asset manager.

He was also the founder, chairman and CEO of Valinor Group and has more than 20 years of experience in institutional asset management (traditional and alternative investments). He gathered vast experience in business and project management and as a board member of various companies over the years. Mr. Bossi started his entrepreneurial career 2001 as a co-founder, chairman and CEO of AlphaSwiss Group, after leaving his senior management position at Zurich Cantonal Bank Asset Management. He holds a degree in economics and business administration from the University of Zurich and is a CFA charter holder. His expertise covers all aspects of the traditional & alternative investment management business from investment advisory to product development/structuring & implementation, portfolio & risk management, manager selection & due diligence as well as quantitative & qualitative analysis. His interests include new disruptive technologies (AI, blockchain, crypto-currencies, VR, cloud, etc.) and digitalization.

Mr. Davide Pinna is Investment Advisor to Strategic Swiss Partners. Mr. Pinna is an investment professional with more than 20 years in private banking. He is deeply knowable in professional management of private wealthy and institutional client portfolios with a strong proven track record across all asset classes. Further he has gathered in-depth knowledge in financial analysis as well as research of global investment markets. In his capacity, Mr. Davide Pinna was sitting in various investment committees as a member or advisor for the company's tactical asset allocation (TAA). Mr. Davide Pinna is fluent in four languages – German, Italian, English and French and is a CFA charter holder.

Alex Jonesco

Partner Business Development / Sports

Alex Jonesco, MA HSG / MBA is a Partner with Strategic Swiss Partners. He is a highly versatile professional with experience across sectors such as finance, insurance, telecom, energy and real estate. Presently his focus is in the fields of Blockchain technology and ESports where he is closely working together with Bulb Capital and NRJ, a leading ESports company based in Los Angeles.

He has been at the top management level in companies such as Banco Comercial Transatlantico (now Deutsche Bank), Union Reinsurance Company, now Swiss Re and on the Boards of various other companies such as Energymixx AG,  a company active in the renewable energy sector. His versatility and knowledge of six languages provides him insight into varied business cultures across the world and he is comfortable in handling business projects and deals in any country. Alex has a Masters degree in Macroeconomics from the University of St. Gallen. From 2013 onwards he also serves as an independant business consultant to various companies and family offices in the areas of business development, MA and TA.

Based in Switzerland Mr. Gilgen has over 30 years professional experience in the capital goods industry, including assembly-, robotic and packaging automation supplying the manufacturing industry of automotive, medical device & pharmaceutical, electronics, photovoltaics and consumer goods. He has held leadership roles in global organizations as COO, GM, VP Sales, Engineering Manager with in depth knowledges in organizational development & strategy, international expansion, operations, sales & business development, Key Account Management, Project Management, engineering and is rounded up with broad business experience in multicultural markets; EMEA, North America, Southeast Asia, China region. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, an Executive MBA in International Management and other certificates in Business Administration and Management, Marketing and Supply.

Open-minded, curious and lively, Mrs Kawohl Ohlmeyer's  personality and skills have always led her to forge relationships across backgrounds and cultures, listen to what people have to say and connect the dots. She is as interested in people as in business, and took this to a professional level by becoming a certified coach (accredited by the International Coaching Federation). Based in Switzerland since 2014, Mrs Kawohl Ohlmeyer has travelled extensively to support a number of new Swiss and international projects, with a focus on the renewable energy and health care sectors.

After having obtained her bachelor's degree in Business Administration in China, Ms Ting Marciacq-Yang did pursue her post-graduate diploma in Hospitality Management in Switzerland. During her employment at a well-known life science park in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, she did accumulate rich and valuable experience in life sciences, intellectual property, technology transfer, and Sino-Swiss exchanges through collaboration and interaction with different cantonal economic promotion agencies, chambers of commerce and various associations. Thanks to her excellent interpersonal and communication skills, based on her deep cultural and educational background both in China and in Europe, her rich network connections currently extend to different technical fields.
