Guna Mahalingam

Executive Chairman 

Mr. Mahalingam is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Strategic Swiss Partners. With roots in Switzerland and Malaysia Mr. Mahalingam has over 30 years’ entrepreneurial experience in the International Financial Services Industry and has developed a truly multicultural sensitivity, building an enormous global network of financial specialists and business partners. Mr. Mahalingam is a Member of the Executive board and Senior Advisor of Finance and Investments for the Swiss-Asian Chamber of Commerce in Zurich .

He is a certified Private Equity Specialist (CPRES) and member of the International Academy of Business and Financial Management (IABFM). Apart of SSP Mr. Mahalingam is a partner of 1291 Group Switzerland and Strategic Advisor for Gulf Islamic Investment in the United Arab Emirates.

Dr. Urs Lustenberger

Managing Partner, Global Head Legal

Dr. Urs Lustenberger is a Managing Partner, Global Head Legal at Strategic Swiss Partners.

Dr. Lustenberger is the long-serving president of the Swiss Asian Chamber of Commerce frequently consulted by governmental, legal and economic councils and frequently speaks at governmental and legal conferences on Asia-Pacific business topics and regularly holds presentations in the field of international commercial arbitration in Asia and Europe.

Dr. Lustenberger was admitted to the Zurich bar, and all Swiss Courts in 1988. He has also acted with several law firms across the course of his expansive career. Since 1993 he holds the PhD in Law from the University of Zurich in Switzerland.

Dr. Lustenberger is Partner at Lustenberger Attorneys at Law with his main practice area in International Commercial Arbitration and Litigation, Competition Law, Trust and Estates Law, General Corporate Law, Real Estate and Insolvency Law.

Thorsten Dueser

Managing Partner, Head of Investment Banking

Mr. Thorsten Dueser is Managing Partner and heads the Investment Banking Team at Strategic Swiss Partners.

Founder of Switzerland based Solution Partners Global, Thorsten is an independent advisor to entrepreneurs, their companies and families. His holistic financial and strategic advice is based on a career of 28 years in investment banking and wealth management at JP Morgan and Credit Suisse in London, New York, Frankfurt and Zürich. His successful track record includes the establishment of leading client franchises for CS in targeted industries and countries for both the Investment Banking and the bank`s Wealth Management divisions, the development of innovative internal and external collaboration platforms and the nurturing of long term client relationships through transformative transactions as well as idea-based dialogue. Thorsten is a member of the advisory boards of Bodmer Capital and a UK based energy/clean tech company in formation. He studied economics/business administration at Hamburg University, St Gallen University (HSG) and at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) which also included a scholarship tenure in Tokyo at the Japanese Ministry of Finance. Since 1989 he is a Personal Member of the London based think-tank Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House).

Maurus Bossi

Senior Partner, Business Advisor

Mr. Maurus Bossi is Business Advisor to Strategic Swiss Partners.

Mr. Bossi is CIO of Pactum AG, a FINMA regulated Swiss asset manager. He is also the founder, chairman and CEO of Valinor and has more than 20 years of experience in institutional asset management (traditional and alternative investments) and has gathered vast experience in business and project management and as a board member of various companies over the years.

Mr. Bossi started his entrepreneurial career 2001 as a co-founder, chairman and CEO of AlphaSwiss Group, after leaving his senior management position at Zurich Cantonal Bank Asset Management. He holds a degree in economics and business administration, awarded by the University of Zurich and is a CFA charter holder.

His expertise covers all aspects of the traditional & alternative investment management business from investment advisory to product development/structuring & implementation, portfolio & risk management, manager selection & due diligence as well as quantitative & qualitative analysis. His interests include new disruptive technologies (AI, blockchain, crypto-currencies, VR, cloud, etc.) and digitalization.

Fabian Mahalingam

Executive Partner, Head Business Development

Mr. Fabian Mahalingam is an Executive Partner of Strategic Swiss Partners.

Mr. Mahalingam accomplished his education in the Assurance & Financial Services industry at Skandia Leben Zurich with distinction before moving to the Wealth Management industry with 1291 Switzerland Group. Formerly with Engel & Völkers, a renowned luxury Real Estate Agency, Mr. Mahalingam specialised in transactions of investment and development properties.

Client Relations, Business Development, Marketing and Sales are his field of expertise. High social and excellent communication skills combined with strong organisational skills are his strength.

Leon Reynauld

Head of Business Development – Asia Pacific

Mr. Leon Reynauld is a Business Development Manager with Strategic Swiss Partners. With the exposure gained working on power project’s assignments (Independent Power Producer) attached to his father’s organization, SPR Energy (M) SdnBhd and Tewet Aktiengesellschaft, Berlin, he can easily manage the project management process, including project memorandums and portfolios, negotiation between various parties concerned and A to Z support of proposals to bankers/ lenders / investors with an aim to achieve a successful implementation of the projects. Being born into a mixed family, as well as beginning his education in international private establishments and later joining the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Australia, Mr. Reynauld represents the best of the young professionals in the international world of business.

Céline Kawohl Ohlmeyer

Partner, Senior Relationship Manager

Céline Kawohl Ohlmeyer studied in France, Germany and Switzerland, and is fluent in French, German and English. Céline now has over 20 years’ experience and a strong track record of building customer relationships and new businesses. Open-minded, curious and lively, Céline’s personality and skills have always led her to forge relationships across backgrounds and cultures, listen to what people have to say and connect the dots. She is as interested in people as in business, and took this to a professional level by becoming a certified coach (accredited by the International Coaching Federation). Céline started her career in Germany, where she became a retail expert in the luxury industry, gaining robust commercial skills and international experience. Based in Switzerland since 2014, Céline has travelled extensively to support a number of new Swiss and international projects, with a focus on the renewable energy and health care sectors.

Benedikt Rieger

Partner, ​Senior Relationship Manager

With long-time experience heading projects across numerous markets, Mr Benedikt Rieger has made the valuing, negotiating and closing of international business deals an expertise. Latest, he was responsible for the organisation and business development of Switzerland’s largest and most prestigious sports event the ATP Swiss Indoors Basel. Currently he is running a fast growing consultancy and is partnering with some of the very best companies in the fields of M&A, private equity, asset management and real estate. Excellent communication skills, a high profile network and relations to international investors across different sectors have made him a sought-after partner for many widely ranging projects. To date, the list includes investment advisory, private equity, Mergers and Acquisitions, real estate, business development, sponsoring, project leadership, marketing and sales.

Lucius Giese

Partner, ​Senior Relationship Manager

With over 10 years in the financial industry, Lucius has an outstanding know-how in the areas of insurance and banking. The last few years before joining the SSP team, he led a sales organization at one of the largest Swiss insurance companies. His extraordinary network of investors and within the start-up scene makes him a sought-after person for both sides. In addition to the European and Asian markets, he also has a good understanding of developments in the US market due to his lengthy stay in Silicon Valley.
