Dr Baer is professor titularis of surgery with a Master in Applied Ethics, and Honorary President of SSP Healthcare & Life Science with Strategic Swiss Partners.
Professor Baer is an HPB surgeon, scientist and entrepreneur, and founder of Baermed Bauchmedizin AG (Abdominal Medicine Ltd). Baermed is a well-established independent private medical provider offering services with a special interest in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. The company was founded in 1999 and offers its clinical services as a surgical centre of excellence at the Hirslanden Hospital in Zürich, one of the leading Swiss Private Hospital Groups.
In 2018, Professor Baer joined a prestigious group of abdominal surgeons of excellence at Surgical Centre Zurich. He has performed over 16,000 surgical procedures in complex hepatobiliary, as well as oncological and minimal invasive surgery. Professor Baer has published over 120 original scientific, surgical and ethical papers.
In 2010, he became international director of the Tarumanagara Human Cell Technologies laboratory, a modern research laboratory specialising in tissue engineering, cell processing, material sciences and matrix development. It is a joint venture with Tarumanagara University in Jakarta, the Gading Pluit Private Hospital Group in Jakarta and Baermed, Zürich, Switzerland.
Professor Baer has successfully written clinical trials and investigators' brochures for preclinical laboratory investigations, animal investigations and phase I and II clinical studies in the field of tissue engineering technology. Professor Baer and Baermed hold the intellectual property rights and Standard Operational Procedures of various cell matrix projects.

Professor Mike is a Researcher, Author, and Educator who specializes in biotechnology research and development of stem cells, peptide therapeutics, and biological and regenerative medicine. He’s the Founder of European Wellness Biomedical Group, Germany – a vertically integrated group comprising key divisions in IP research and development, biotech and biopharma manufacturing plants (Germany & EU), educational institutions and professional academies, global product distribution across 80 countries, 30+ hospitals, medical wellness, diagnostics, and youth restorative centers with research labs in Germany, USA, Athens, Switzerland, UK, and Turkey.
Professor Mike sits on the Board & heads the Scientific Committee for Regenerative Medicine, ESAAM (European Society of Preventative, Regenerative and Anti-Aging Medicine) Est. 2003 and the Society’s Asian Chairman; an Associate Professor of AASCP, USA (American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians), and Chairman for A4M, USA (American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine) for Thailand. Dr. Coert Huijbregsen is medical doctor, holds a MBA General Management, currently lives in Malaysia and contributes to Strategic Swiss Partners in the area of life sciences. For 18 years, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry as marketing director and general manager and worked closely with R&D, Q&A and manufacturing departments. Apart from his knowledge of the professional medical market, he also has a broad experience in the consumer healthcare segment. As a consultant, he carried out several business development projects, including market analysis for natural substances, feasibility studies for medical devices and probiotic cleaning. He is strongly financially oriented and has a great capability of adding commercial insights to life sciences projects, including market analysis, feasibility studies and marketing strategies.

Drs. Karin van Zuilen is partner strategy & concept development at SSP. She is founder of Senz Strategy & Growth consulting, based in Malaysia, specializing in strategy development and implementation. She has over 25 years of strategic experience in the global healthcare, life sciences and strategy consulting industry (with clients in the governmental services, life sciences and consumer health industry). As global marketing director, she lead the creation of business strategy, brand positioning, portfolio management, product development and market access studies in The Americas, Middle East, Europe and Asia. Her teams made products successful from development stage to reaching #1 position in highly-competitive markets. Karin van Zuilen is Dutch, lives in Malaysia, holds a PhD in pharmacy (with business economics) and a Masters in marketing.

Dr. med. Eric X. Jensen, Senior Partner at SSP has expertise and experience in consulting in Internal Medicine, Insurance & Legal Medicine as well as in health care and scientific publications. He has been working since 1999 as a specialist in Internal Medicine in internationally reputed clinics such as the Inselspital in Berne and the Hirslanden Group in Zürich. The last 15 years he has been specializing in Insurance Medicine, mainly supervising interdisciplinary medical teams in order to assess health status and working capacity of multimorbid patients. Since 2012 Dr. Jensen is at the head of his own Medical Assessment Institution in Schwyz, the ZIMB AG. His main function there is to coordinate the talents of various specialists and organizing networks for an optimal medical management of complex diseases. He also works as a Senior Medical Advisor for Medical Tribune, the largest professional journal for health care specialists in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, and regularly writes articles and editorials about the newest trends and developments in modern medicine, the latest scientific publications and clinical trials as well as about new medical devices and technical innovations. Dr. Jensen furthermore moderates symposia and webinars with the main opinion leaders about the latest medical topics. Since 2018 he is also active as a Consultant for Internal Medicine in Dubai, where he has founded UPM Marketing Management Ltd, which collaborates with reputed Private Medical Clinics and hospitals, who wish to send patients from the Middle-East to Switzerland for exclusive medical and or surgical treatment. As the future Chief Editor of Medical Tribune Dubai he will soon create a new communication platform for health professionals in the UAE. Thanks to his wide personal expertise and his long-term contacts with eminent Swiss specialists of all medical fields he can ensure top-level second expert opinion and optimal medical and/or surgical management in the leading Universities and private hospitals throughout all of Switzerland.
Together with SSP Dr. Jensen is now planning with the China-Swiss InterMedic project to set up similar collaboration networks and communication platforms in China.

Dr. Casadei is a Partner for Technology and Research at Strategic Swiss Partners.
He is the General Manager of Cosylab Switzerland, a company focusing on the whole digital stack ranging from electronics design and embedded processing (e.g. FPGA and microcontrollers) to high-level software, and providing engineering services to innovative companies and research institutions. Before joining Cosylab R&D efforts in the development of medically-certified smart devices, he spent 20 years in research and space instrumentation, developing a robust approach to risk management, quality assurance, system engineering and project management (he is also certified as Project Management Professional, PMP™).
Dr. Casadei is currently focusing on enabling innovation by collaborating with startups, which want to bring new smart medical devices to the market in the shortest possible time and with the smallest possible risk.
He holds a PhD in Physics and a master's degree in music and has been teaching as joint professor in experimental physics at the University of Bologna for four years.

Dr. Mohanadas Ramasamy Major General Dato Pahlawan (Rtd) is a member of Strategic Swiss Partners Health Care - Global Advisory Board. In his 30 years of military service, he had served in many parts of the country including as Chief Medical Officer of the United Nations Operations in Somalia in 1998. He holds a Masters in Health Planning (MHP) from the University of New South Wales, Australia, Diploma in Industrial Health from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of England (DIH) & Society of Apothecaries (DIHSA), and Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (DTM&H) from Mahidol University, Bangkok. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (FFOM) and a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (FAMM). He is currently the Deputy Chairman, Board of Governors of the Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) and a Director of CUCMS Education Sdn Bhd. He is a Member of the Board of Governors of the Asia Metropolitan University (AMU) and a Non Independent Non-Executive Director of Asiamet Education Group. He is a Member of the Preliminary Investigations Committee (PIC 4) of the Malaysian Medical Council. In recognition of his contributions to the profession, he was awarded the "Most Outstanding Alumnus" of the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University in 2011, the Outstanding Achievement Award of SOMGRIM 2012 (Society of Medical Graduates from India Malaysia) and the MMA Gold Medal in 2013. For his services to the Nation, he has received several state and federal awards amongst them being the Dato Pahlawan Taming Sari (DPTS) from HRH the Sultan of Perak and the Panglima Setia Angkatan Tentera (PSAT), the second highest military award from SPB Yang Di Pertuan Agong and the United Nations Peacekeeping Medal.
Sheila Menon, FBSCH FBAMH

Sheila is the Principal for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis (Asia-Australia). She has over 20 years experience as a clinical hypnotherapist and is a Fellow of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and Secretary of the Malaysian Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She is also a founding Director of the LCCH Therapy Centre at Pantai Hospital KL. In Malaysia, she introduced clinical hypnosis through a ten year MOU with the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia and in Singapore she collaborated with Tan Tock Seng Hospital in a three year MOU designed to introduce clinical hypnosis to the medical profession. A very hands on Principal, Sheila lectures in Asia and UK and runs a busy private practice. She has been a consultant hypnotherapist at University Hospital and is often found at University Malaya during the weekends visiting the on-going training programs. Sheila and her team have led the way in a number of research projects in clinical hypnosis in Malaysia including the role of clinical hypnosis in pain management, surgery, obstetrics, cancer care and stress management.
