He spent more than 12 years with EFG-Hermes - the largest investment bank in the Middle East and Africa as a fund manager and managed various funds and portfolios for some of the world's largest SWFs and endowments as a Managing Director. He also served as a board member for some of the region's most innovative and fastest growing companies across various industries.

Ammar Zawaideh

Mr. Ammar Zawaideh is a strategic advisor with Strategic Swiss Partners in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA). Mr.Zawaideh was part of the founding team tasked with the set up of the Dubai Mercantile Exchange Limited and was heading the finance and planning before venturing on his own in 2015, prior to that he was part of the core team setting up Dubai SME . He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting, from University of Jordan and master's certificate in project management from Regis University, Colorado USA. Being entrepreneurial Mr. Zawaideh has the ability to pull together teams to start projects and put them on the right track along with his strong connections in the region. Currently he is Managing Partner at Confida Ventures Limited, a boutique advisory firm and is involved in setting up two new ventures; sets on the board of Firmus Energy (Dubai, UAE): and the chairman of the board of and AZA Hospitality Management (Cairo, Egypt).

Dr. Nicholas Krohley

Dr. Nicholas Krohley is a Strategic Advisor and contributes his expertise and experience to Strategic Swiss Partners. Based in London, he has over fifteen years of experience at the intersection of consulting, academia, and the intelligence sector. He is the founder of FrontLine Advisory, an emerging markets boutique that combines proprietary ethnographic methods with traditional approaches to strategy consulting, research, and risk management. He has deep experience in the Middle-East region, where he serves as a subject matter expert to corporates, management consultancies, technology firms, and security companies. Prior to founding FrontLine, he served in various capacities as a Social Scientist and Middle-East specialist with the U.S. government. He holds Ph.D. and M.A. degrees in Middle East & Mediterranean Studies from King's College London, and a B.A. in History from Yale University. Dr. Krohley is a Non-Resident Fellow with the Modern War Institute at West Point, and a member of the Expert & Advisory Board of Project TAKEDOWN, an E.U.-funded initiative to combat terrorism and organised crime.

Datuk Dr. Nasir Latif is a Strategic Partner / Advisor of Strategic Swiss Partners representing Brunei Darussalam and Timor-Leste.

He is the Brunei Country Director of the Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA), a government advisory body to the BIMP countries and Chairman of the EAGA Development Corporation, focusing on trade, investment and development activities in the BIMP-EAGA region, specifically in manpower, aviation, halal trade, renewable energies, carbon credit trading, education and food security. Dr Nasir is Trade and Investment Advisor to the Timor-Leste Ambassador in Brunei and President of the Brunei-Timor-Leste Friendship Association. He is exclusively appointed by the governments of Brunei and Timor-Leste to recruit Timorese workers to Brunei and leads the largest food security project in Timor-Leste to achieve rice self-sufficiency for both Brunei and Timor-Leste. He is also Brunei Country Director of the Indonesian National Federation of Rural Farmers, the largest national cooperative and agricultural producer in Indonesia with a membership of 13.4 million members and spearheads the Brunei Food Valley, a bilateral food security initiative representing up to 1 million hectares of agricultural land.

Moritz Gubler

Mr Moritz Gubler is a Strategic Advisor for Asia with Strategic Swiss Partners. After receiving his law degree he first spent two years in China. By learning Chinese, teaching foreign languages and visiting joint-ventures, he acquired a thorough knowledge of the Chinese way of thinking and the local habits. Afterwards he worked in a law firm in Zurich and at the district court of Bülach in order to prepare himself for the bar-examinations. After getting admitted to the bar of Zurich, he worked with Union Bank of Switzerland in Locarno in the Italian part of Switzerland for eight months. Mr Moritz Gubler then returned back to Zurich where he worked as a client couselor and lawyer in a trust-firm of the UBS Group. In May 1997 he went to Labuan, Malaysia, in order to open a new trust company for Coopers & Lybrand. From 2004 to 2007 the company was owned by the LGT Group, Liechtenstein In September 2007 they were acquired by the Tricor Group, Hong Kong. Since November 2011 he is a partner of the Alpadis Group with its headquarters in Switzerland and providing fiduciary services. Mr. Moritz Gubler is the Managing Partner of Alpadis Trust (Labuan) Ltd. and generally being involved in the development of the group.

Tuck Weng Low

Mr. Tuck Weng Low is a Strategic Advisor with Strategic Swiss Partners and his main career has been in corporate & investment banking. This was for a span of 19 years when he covered project finance, debt capital markets, and FICC (forex, fixed income, & commodity) derivatives for sovereign & institutional clients. He spent a further 6 years in private banking & investment management, structuring in all asset classes before moving into a single family office for a further 6 years. He served for several famous institutions, such as:  Goldman Sachs, Nomura, SBC Warburg, JP Morgan, HSBC in London, Zurich, Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney. Mr. Tuck Weng, aside from his finance career, has been involved in fintech (trading software) in Palo Alto (1990s) as well as biotech in Singapore.

Ms .Helga L Kumontoy is  Strategic Advisor at Strategic Swiss Partners. Ms Kumontoy has over 25 years’ experience in trade promotion and manufacturing. Ms. Kumontoy running her business in manufacturing , initiating and set up  seaweed industry,  wood charchoal and furniture industry. Having MICE industry which creating events mostly for trade and investment, organizing incentives and meetings with the focus of enhancing Indonesia and ASEAN countries targets on trade and investments. Actively as the board member of Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the permanent committee for middle east and OIC, Chairwoman of Indonesia-United Arab Emirates Business Council. Member of the board of Indonesia Employers Association for the export development committee and board member of Indonesia shippers Association responsible for export development as well. Ms. Kumontoy has acted as a powerful force in a variety of task forces and teams to improve Islamic development mostly in trade and investment as well as for energy, infrastructure, and the economy of Indonesia in general.

Dr. Eugene Yun

Dr. Eugene Yun is Strategic Advisor at Strategic Swiss Partners for Korea. He is Managing Director of the P80 Group Foundation, an organization dedicated to mobilizing capital resources into green investments and sustainable development. He also serves as Managing Partner of Eos Investment Partners, a Seoul-based investment firm he co-founded. Eos Investment Partners specializes in cross-border investments with particular emphasis in climate finance and natural resources. As Senior Advisor to the Asian Development Bank, Dr. Yun helped design the Climate Public Private Partnership Fund. Dr. Yun has had the pleasure of working in many different fields with Soros Fund Management, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, Schroder Securities, Maeil Kyungje Shinmun, University of British Columbia and Ewha University. Dr. Yun studied undergraduate economics at Yonsei University and received his Ph.D. degree in economics from the University of Minnesota specializing in monetary and macroeconomic theory.

Mr William Lo is Strategic Advisor at Strategic Swiss Partners for HK and China. Mr.Lo is the Responsible Officer and currently holds the SFC No. 9 asset management license in Hong Kong. Mr. Lo has obtained Chartered Accountant qualification in the U.K. and is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Lo was also a member of the International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals (INSOL International). Mr. Lo has extensive asset management experience in both debt and equity portfolios. He has also served as directors of many listed companies in China and Hong Kong. Mr. Lo has invested and managed various asset classes, including assets restructuring, energy business and property development projects in China. Mr. Lo also has over 28 years corporate finance and M&A experience. During his previous roles with the investment banks, he has successfully advised many corporates in China and Asia on the issue of merger and acquisition, privatization and initial public offerings in China and other capital markets in Asia.

Being a member of the Executive Boards and Regional ExCo’s in EMEA, Dr. Salimova headed Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy, Corporate Communications, Market Access, Business Development, Internal Audit, Risk Management and PMO functions. She successfully managed large scale cross-functional and cross-business Projects that were pivotal in significant revenue growth of the multinational companies. She speaks five languages (English, Italian, German, Russian, Uzbek) and developed diverse multicultural sensitivity and fast market adaptation. Dr. Salimova is the Managing Partner of a management consulting firm “Salimova & Co. Business Solutions”, Official Representative in Switzerland of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Executive Board Member and the Chairwomen of the Uzbekistan Committee at SACC, Co-founder of “Uzbekistan-Italia” Association.
