Dataswyft and SSP forge a partnership to launch the Dataswyft Network across Asia.

In these challenging times of geopolitical polarization, Asia stands at a crossroads. Dataswyft and SSP have, through their broad spectrum of intellectual discourse, identified defining strengths of the reorientation of priorities while maintaining a forward-looking status quo agenda of predetermined innovation and the use of rapidly advancing technologies.

These offer an unprecedented opportunity to improve productivity and standards of living.

Responding to such profound forces of change requires a new commitment to collaboration.

We are thrilled to announce a new strategic partnership between SSP and Dataswyft, formalized through a partnership agreement signed on Feb 11, 2025

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the technology sector as both companies work together to explore innovative opportunities and market access around the fast-growing ASEAN economies and beyond.

Under this partnership, SSP and Dataswyft will collaborate towards the establishment of a Dataswyft Network in various ASEAN countries as well as develop innovative technology solutions that leverage their combined expertise. By aligning SSP’s regional economic proficiency and expertise in emerging markets to Dataswyft’s innovative data infrastructure and technology, the partnership aims to create impactful advancements that will contribute to unlocking the value of its data globally, complementing the alignment to a unique position in ASEAN’s economic continuity, enhancing its collective strength while prioritising long-term strategic positioning.

About Dataswyft

Dataswyft is a distributed data infrastructure, technology and network group headquartered in the U.K. The Dataswyft Technology System enables individuals, micro/SMEs, enterprises and governments to own and store their data in their own standardized data server (namely “HAT Microserver”) and enable the usage and portability of data (“peer-to-peer”) through Dataswyft’s proprietary data wallet. This technology was created from more than US$50M research grants across 10 United Kingdom universities to emerge the Next Generation Data Economy.

The Dataswyft Network functions in a similar way to payment networks where wallet users may “pull” their data from various data sources and use their data either to prove their status, or “push” standardized information into another data wallet to fill forms or send information safely, securely and across borders, fully compliant with data regulations. Data subjects can own and use their data; data sources can use the network as a distribution channel for their data through their own customers (creating new revenue streams); and businesses can reduce customer friction by receiving proofs and verified information.

Conclusion

This joint effort for both SSP and Dataswyft, has been primed to facilitate the greater potential of our business relations and objectives, with both parties sharing a common vision, to the greater extent, for a more sustainable future for ASEAN, ASIA and further.

The ASEAN region and her immediate neighbors are experiencing significant expansion, driven by increased investments across the board supported by government-backed initiatives that encourage both G to G as well as private sector participation in the transfer of technology to create solutions to real-world challengers. We are but part of the solution.

By engaging in this strategic step, we at SSP are further aligning ASEAN and ASIA globally, to new opportunities, fostering greater connectivity and accessibility to both domestic and international destinations that will benefit local communities and businesses alike.
