Navigating a Changing Global Business Landscape
The inaugural London Forum addressed the theme “Navigating Geopolitical Risks and Geo economic Challenges: Building Resilience and Strengthening Sustainability”, reflecting WBC’s focus on enhancing trusted dialogue and international business connectivity in an increasingly complex global environment.
The distinguished gathering brought together prominent business, civic and international leaders, including Tun Dato’ Seri Zaki Tun Azmi, Patron of WBC; Tan Sri Dr Munir Majid, Chairman of the International Executive Council; Baroness Manzila Uddin; Andrew Khoo, Co-Chairman of WBC; Lai Mei Sim, OBE DL; Sir Iqbal Sacranie, Vice President of WBC and Chairman of the Muslim Trade Forum (MTF); Prof Mike Chan, Chair of SSP Regenerative Medicine, Prof. Rob McCusker, SSP Executive Partner; and Keith Sargent, Chair of the Centre for the Study of International Governance (CSIG).
With more than three decades of international entrepreneurial and business experience across Europe and Asia, Dato’ Guna Mahalingam brings extensive experience in financial services, international business development, strategic partnerships and cross-border market access.
The appointment marks an important new chapter in the international development of both organisations and further strengthens the bridge between Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and emerging global markets
In his new role, Dato’ Guna Mahalingam will contribute to WBC’s international development, supporting greater strategic connectivity, market access and responsible cross-border business cooperation
